Nets

Nets offers acquiring of a variety of card types, including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express and Diners Club etc.

Order an acquiring agreement

You can apply for a Nets agreement directly through OnPay. Click Apply here under the Nets settings:

This will initiate a step-by-step sequence that will guide you through the process of ordering your acquiring agreement.

Setup in OnPay

Once your agreement with Nets has been finalized, you will need the following information to complete the configuration in OnPay:

  • Terminaloperator ID (TOF)
  • Merchant category code (MCC)

If your agreement includes other cards besides Dankort, you will also need to provide the following information:

  • International Merchant ID
  • Visa BIN-number
  • Mastercard BIN-number
  • American Express ID (* Only needed if American Express is included in the agreement)

Nets provides this information

To set up Nets you need to go to Settings > Acquirers > Nets and complete the following steps:

  1. Activate Nets
  2. Insert Terminaloperator ID (TOF)
  3. Insert Merchant category code (MCC)
  4. If your agreement is exclusive to Dankort, click Save. Otherwise:
  5. Insert International Merchant ID
  6. Insert Visa BIN-number
  7. Insert Mastercard BIN-number
  8. If relevant, insert American Express ID
  9. Save

Setup Nets

When saving your changes you will be prompted with a dialog asking you to enable Nets as the primary acquirer for Visa and Mastercard. Click on Set as primary:

Confirm Nets

If you are using another acquirer already as your primary acquirer and don't want to switch to Nets right away, select No instead. Primary and secondary acquirers can always be set under Card rules

Notice: After setting up the acquirer we recommend that you complete a test payment with your own payment card to ensure that your agreement has been propagated and that OnPay has established a valid connection to the acquirer.
