Swedbank Pay offers Visa and Mastercard acquiring.

Order an acquiring agreement

You can apply for a Swedbank Pay agreement directly through OnPay. Click Apply here under the Swedbank Pay settings:

This will take you to a contact form on Swedbank's website, where you can enter your contact information and submit a contact request. Swedbank will reach out to you and help you draft and finalize your agreement with them.

Setup in OnPay

Once your agreement with Swedbank has been finalized, you will need the following information to complete the configuration in OnPay:

  • Merchant ID
  • MCC

To set up Swedbank Pay, go to Settings > Acquirers > Swedbank Pay and follow these steps:

  1. Activate Swedbank
  2. Insert Merchant ID
  3. Insert MCC
  4. Save

When saving your changes you will be prompted with a dialog asking you to enable Swedbank as the primary acquirer for Visa and Mastercard. Click on Set as primary:

If you are using another acquirer already as your primary acquirer and don't want to switch to Swedbank right away, select No instead. Primary and secondary acquirers can always be set under Card rules

Notice: After setting up the acquirer we recommend that you complete a test payment with your own payment card to ensure that your agreement has been propagated and that OnPay has established a valid connection to the acquirer.
