Vipps

With Vipps, your Norwegian customers can pay with their favorite wallet Vipps and thus avoid having to supply their payment card for every purchase. Vipps uses stored credit card information to complete secure purchases* on the go.

* In some cases, the card issuer (typically the customer's bank) may insist on additional validation. In these rare cases, the customer will still be required to validate the purchase with 3D Secure.

Vipps is the preferred payment method in Norway. If you serve Norwegian customers you should consider offering Vipps as a payment option. Vipps does not require a separate agreement with Vipps, but is an optional module for your OnPay solution that can be ordered through your OnPay provider.

Setup in OnPay

As soon as Vipps is activated on your OnPay solution, you will be able to configure the module in your OnPay control panel.

According to the Vipps agreement it is required that you add your company logo to your payment window. To do this, go to Settings > Wallets > Vipps. Select your logo with the image picker and save your changes.
